At last, after several minutes, the sensations began to subside. The convulsions lessened, then stopped entirely. Covered in sweat, lying on his back on the bathroom floor, Adam felt control returning slowly to his body. He raised his arm experimentally - it was smaller, narrower than before, the muscles less firmly defined, but it seemed to obey his commands once more. He tried the other arm, then both legs, to the same result. He could move, albeit weakly.
